Discovery
Before we start building any website, we like to get to know the company we are working for as best we can. This ensures that what we build is a true reflection of what the company is all about. It helps us determine how your website will look, how it will interact with its users, and what its goals will be–all critical elements that must be addressed before a website can be built.
Architecture
Once we have firmly established the goals for the website and have completed benchmarking of similar sites in the industry, we will present you with a suggested site map (like a blueprint of the website’s links) as well as a wireframe that depict the website’s entire interface on paper. This step gives you an exact idea of how users will interact with the website.
What’s driving this step? We want to make sure that the people that visit your website quickly and easily accomplish their goals. Our recommendations are based on years of experience studying usability and behavior studies regarding intuitive, user-friendly experiences.
Create
Now for the fun stuff… the Meeka Designs team will create a concept for the “look and feel” of the website. We will use a combination of our expertise as well as the direction you have already given us and will give us in the discovery phase. Once you decide on a final design, we will then begin building the website by combining the design with the content.
Implement
Now that we have the design in place, we will need to make it work for the World Wide Web. The implementation phase will include the final pieces of the puzzle. Where we start programming the design into HTML and adding the final content to the website. This includes optimizing all the images and creating metatags for specific pages.
Test
Thorough testing and re-testing will be done to make sure your website communicates effectively across a variety of bandwidths, screen sizes and browsers.
Launch
Once you have jumped up and down with excitement, the website is now ready for the whole world to see. Meeka Designs will launch the website and start measuring its success.
